PRINT

A FEW POINTERS...

WHAT IS DTF PRINT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

DTF stands for Direct to Film - and its one of the most versatile and vibrant ways to add your branding or design to garments.

DTF is often used as treatment on a garments, bags and hats and we regularly use this process for designs applied to long sleeve tops, named & numbered team uniforms, cap logos, tote bags etc. If you’re not sure if your artwork is suitable for this method just ask us and we can have a look and let you know.

With DTF printing, we can handle gradients, shading, fine detail and bold colours easily and unlike older print methods, DTF prints stay flexible and smooth on the fabric. There is no thick, plasticky feel - just a clean, professional result.

what is the process?

You supply us with your artwork.

We require either high resolution  .jpg or .png files of your design/artwork. If there's any issues with your artwork at all, we will contact you before proceeding with the order. If we need to adjust or re-do your artwork, you may be charged an artwork fee depending on how long it takes. Artwork should be uploaded at a resolution of at least 300 dpi and for best results we recommend supplying vector artwork (either in .ai or .eps formats).

We then print and apply your artwork

Your artwork is then printed onto a special film using high-quality inks.  The design is then applied to your garment using a high temperature, pressurised heat press.

Perfect for short runs.

Whether you need one item or a 100, DTF is a cost effective solution

Lasts the life of the garment.

With the correct care and laundering, there is no reason that your DTF prints will not last for the life of the garment.

We finish it off with care.

When your garment is finished, we check the quality and get it ready to be shipped.

DTF is a brilliant all-rounder especially for retail merchandise and detailed designs that deserve to stand out
